I was asked recently about bringing change to church life. Of course, we would love the idea of bringing all the church into change at the same time but, while this is desirable, my experience has shown me that this is unlikely and takes time. This is more time than we have now. My sense is that as we develop a discipleship multiplication process with those who are ready to catalyse such a process, we are able to bring change that is able to model for the whole what is involved. The tide has changed but wisdom is needed.
